Welcome to the FineEye Photography Tutorials!

This is not a formal course in photography and the idea is not to "teach" you
how to become a professional photographer. Rather, what I would like to do is
to share my passion for photography with you and to assist you in developing
that elusive, mystical thing called a "photographer's eye", so that you may enjoy
your image making more and be more satisfied with the results.

Photography can be an art form, and as such it has a few "rules" -- most of
them, however, can (and should!) be broken from time to time. Please keep that
in mind as you progress  through these pages. If we all obeyed the rules slavishly,
we would all end up taking the  same photos,
and that would be the death of not
only our individuality as photographers, but of all interest we could hope to
awaken in those who view our images!

Unfortunately you will have to do a fair bit of reading on these pages, but that
cannot be avoided. I will try to keep matters as graphic and as interesting
as possible, so please bear with me -- the written parts are only there because
they are important!

I hope you will have fun and that  you will end the tutorials a happier snapper!
Don't get too serious, but take pains to give it your best shot at all times. And,
of course I am only a click away; you can always mail me with any queries or suggestions
or whatever else by clicking on the Mail Me link at the foot of this page.

Below are the links to the various pages which constitute these tutorials.
Enter and have fun!
